Jennifer Matthews Valiyi first joined the law offices of Hoffman & Hoffman in 2006, and she quickly rose through the ranks at the firm from entry level to middle management as the senior paralegal while working alongside founding partner John D. Hoffman. Today, Jennifer is a Partner in the Insurance Law Division managing the associate attorneys and has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Expert since 2022.
Jennifer attended law school part-time at Nova Southeastern University, while maintaining full-time employment with the firm. She not only excelled at her management job at the firm during law school, she also served as the managing editor for the ILSA International & Comparative Law Journal. Jennifer practices general civil litigation focusing primarily on premises liability, personal injury, first-party insurance litigation, and contract disputes. She is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts, as well as the Southern and Middle Districts of the United States District Court. She is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Defense Research Institute, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
