Waiting Period in Florida Divorce

There is a waiting period in Florida of at least 20 from the date of the filing of the petition of dissolution of marriage before the final Judgment of Divorce may be entered. It is possible, however, if you can prove that an injustice would result from even a 20 day delay, that the court may enter a final judgment prior to the 20 day waiting period ending.

Take time to look at the links to your left. We have put together a vast amount of information to help you understand the divorce and family law process. The firm's goal is to educate and inform so you can make the very best decisions for you and your family.
